Description
The Academic-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships are available to students for one academic year of study in another country. This award will help to cover round-trip transportation, tuition, fees, room and board expenses, and some educational supplies. You must also pass a language proficiency exam if your native language is not that of your proposed study country to be considered for this award.

Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest

DESCRIPTION
The Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest is open to college/university and 12th grade students. To be eligible for this contest, you must write an essay of no fewer than 800 and no more than 1,600 words in length, double-spaced, on a topic related to Ayn Rand's novel, "Atlas Shrugged." Essays are judged on both style and content. The winning essay must demonstrate an outstanding grasp of the philosophic meaning of the book "Atlas Shrugged." All information necessary to enter the contest is available on the sponsor's site.

The Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarships are available to students for either three or six months of intensive language study and cultural immersion in another country. This award provides funds to cover round-trip transportation, language training expenses, and homestay living arrangements. Applications are considered for candidates interested in studying Arabic, English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, and Swedish.
